Portable gaming on the go, a geek’s best friend. The Nintendo DS lite has to be one of the best portable gaming systems out there.

I went with the DS lite as there are so many great games out there for it.

With the bottom screen being touch sensitive and a microphone, this thing really takes gaming to a new level and I can’t wait to see what the Nintendo Wii will be like when it comes out.

The good stuff:

• Battery life is great, it just never seems to run out before charging.
• Nice light feel and truly portable.
• Great looking screens that don’t strain the eyes.
• Can just close the screen when playing a game and its paused for you to come back to later on.

The bad:

• Could always use a bigger screen :-)
• Hands can cramp up over long play sessions, though it’s still a good size.

Overall, being able to play a quick game and then just have the screen closed and have it be paused is fantastic for on the go gaming. Pick one up if you are remotely interested in this.
