So Microsoft release a new product called Microsoft Surface.

The geek factor on this thing is very high, it basically a big tabletop that multiple users can interact with at a time. You can put your camera on the surface and then see all the photos that are in it and send them to other devices.

Words cannot fully describe just how cool it is, so check out the videos at the above site, go on, I can wait.

So how does it work? Well there is a projector that projects onto the screen and multiple cameras will determine where/what is being touched and a lot of smart software does the rest. :-)

Mainly a kiosk thing for now, if these things ever become affordable then perhaps we might see them in the living room.

There are all sorts of apps they could make. For now we will just have to wait and see where it goes. ;-)
