Gaming Goodies

Well nothing like treating yourself. :-)
First up: Logitech G7 Laser Cordless mouse - Reasons for Buying: Apart from the laser, which is far more accurate than standard optical mice, this thing can adjust sensitivity on the fly. So you can be playing a game where you need to be able to turn on the spot, then you zoom in and just a quick click the sensitivy is dropped down so that you have to drag the mouse half way across your desk in order to move 1/4 of the way across the screen. Wireless for mice is also the only way to go, cause a cable just always gets in the way at the worst possible time. Nice review on Everything USB.
Next on the list: Logitech G15 Gaming keyboard - Well at first I thought this keyboard was just a lame gimmick and who knows maybe it is. The main reason I got it: Backlit keyboard. When you are playing in the dark, it just helps to be able to see the keys. Have been very frustrated recently while playing Oblivion and I can’t see where the damn 8 key is. It has a cool LCD display that can interact with games that support it and winamp and tell time etc. Plus the custom keys on the left look like they will be very handy. Once again, great review on Everything USB.
Lastly: Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick - This one I didn’t really research, I just knew that I needed a joystick if I was ever gonna fly a chopper in Battlefield 2 and it had to be cordless, cause the corded jobs just get in the way and can be a real pain. Funny thing is, the batteries that came with it are flat and I don’t have any spares :-(.
Will post an update later on, after I have actually used these things to do more than post on the internet.
