Nothing beats a good arcade flying game and Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X fits the bill nicely.

Not only does it do 'regular style' flying, but it also has a fantastic 'assistance off' mode (aka Awesome mode) where the game camera pulls back from your plane and you can now see your plan and your target in the same view so that you know where you are in relation to the other plane. Trust me it makes sense when you actually see it in action. :-)

There is even an assisted mode that can use visual aids to guide your plane into the optimum attack position. But it hardly got used. :-)

As for the overall game. Super Awesome Happy Fun Lucky time! indeed. The game eases you into the story and then BAM! Things get all Jerry Bruckheimer and the roller coaster never stops.

There are a ton of planes to fly, you can play the story mode levels in 4 player co-op which adds +5 to awesome. Each level is generally huge with tons of air and land based cannon fodder enemies to blow up and you are generally going hammer and tongs non stop.

Overall: The game is brilliant and well worth the price of admission if you are into arcade style flying games. Can't recommend it enough. :-)
