ICO for the PS2 is a game that has been around for a while and really isn’t like anything I have played before

The Good:

• Very clean interface, there is none to speak of, its just you and the game.
• Some really memorable moments in the game thanks to the fantastic atmosphere.
• The ability to pan around and see the world you are in. This is an often overlooked feature of 3D games, the whole world is there and its great to be able to see it.

The Bad:

• The standard issue with 3D platform games - Sometimes camera angles lead to Frustrating situations where its impossible to accurately jump etc.
• Save point System - sometimes there just aren’t enough checkpoints, and after completing a long sequece only to make 1 little mistake, you will find yourself doing it all over again.
• Graphics are a bit dated as this was designed for the Playstation. The average graphics don’t ruin the game or drag it down, though to see this done with even better graphics would have been awesome.

Overall: Have to agree with most of the reviews out there. A fantastic game that should be played by every gamer out there.
