Game: Mirrors Edge
Every now and then a game suprises you. Mirror's Edge is one of those games.
The game is based on Free running/Parkour and it places you in a first person view as you navigate your way across the roofs of buildings and through the indside as well.
Graphics are fantastic, the game has a nice clean look that really suits it. The cutscenes use a cell shaded effect that isn't as good. First game I played where the ingame graphics were far better than the cutscene graphics. :-)
The feeling that you get when you get a prefect flow as you jump from a buidling, vault a fence, run along a wall and then slide under a pipe to jump up and grab onto a flying fox. WOW just doens't cover it. :-)
The game is pretty short at approx 5 hours long. This isn't a bad thing. It's clear they focused on quality over quantity and there was always something interesting to do. They could have really gone overboard and ruinied the game, though they managed to walk a fine line and get it just right.

Fantastic game. This game is the perfect weekend rental. Easy to play and a whole lot of fun.
