District 9

District 9 is a cool sci-fi film about what it would be like if alien refugees arrived here on earth and were seregated off to a government camp.
Strongly influenced by apartheid themes, the film has a good mix of comedy, action and sci-fi.
The movie was made 'on the cheap' for a low $30 million but the effects are top notch.
Overall:
Good movie. Nice action piece at the end of the movie and leaves room for a sequel that I hope they make. :-)
